IMPORTANT — NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. Travel Safety is an informational reference tool only. It is NOT an emergency service, does not contact or dispatch emergency responders, and is NOT a substitute for official emergency services, hotlines, or medical, legal, security, or consular advice. In any emergency, call your local emergency number directly and follow the instructions of qualified authorities. Information in the App (including emergency numbers and embassy or consulate contacts) may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unavailable. Always verify critical information through official sources before relying on it.
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the Provider governing your use of the Travel Safety mobile application and related content, features, and services (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App and delete it from your device.
This is an agreement with the Provider only, not with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any app store operator (each, a "Store"); the Stores are not responsible for the App (see Section 12).
The App is a purely informational reference tool that helps travelers locate general information such as local emergency telephone numbers and embassy or consulate contact details for a selected or detected country.
The content shown in the App is factual information aggregated from official and publicly available sources — including foreign-ministry (MFA) portals, open structured databases, and public geographic data — together with manual curation. We do not author the underlying facts and make no independent representation that they are correct. Where automated extraction (including AI-assisted extraction) is used to read such public sources, it is designed to extract only values that appear in the source, and extracted records are subject to review and curation; despite this, errors are possible. Individual records may display their source type, source URL, and a last-updated date so you can check the origin of the information yourself.
The App does not provide, and must never be relied upon as: (a) emergency, rescue, medical, fire, police, or security services; (b) medical, legal, financial, immigration, travel-safety, or consular advice; (c) any guarantee that a displayed number, contact, or address is correct, current, operational, or appropriate for your situation; or (d) any connection, routing, or relay of your communications to any emergency service, authority, embassy, or third party. Calls you choose to make are placed by your own device and mobile carrier; the App does not place calls on your behalf and is not responsible for call connectivity, charges, routing, or outcomes.
You are solely responsible for verifying any information before you rely on it, and for your own safety and decisions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly using a verified number. Do not delay seeking help in order to use the App. You acknowledge that relying on the App instead of official, verified sources may be dangerous, and you assume that risk.
The App is intended for adults only. You must be of the age of majority in your country of residence and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it.
Subject to these Terms, the Provider grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with applicable Store rules.
You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to: copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law; rent, sell, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the App; remove proprietary notices or circumvent security or access controls; use the App unlawfully or in a way that interferes with its operation or other users; or use the App to build a competing product or to extract or scrape its data, except to the extent such extraction is permitted under the open-data licenses listed in Section 11 for the content those licenses cover.
The App is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the App or any feature (including location detection, content updates, or offline pre-loading of data) will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Features may depend on internet connectivity, device permissions, and third-party services outside our control. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. Content shown offline may be outdated; reconfirm it when connectivity is available.
The App and all related content, design, text, graphics, and software are owned by the Provider or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 4, no rights are granted to you.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process data such as approximate location, account information, and crash and diagnostics data, and how you can delete your account and associated data.
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any information in the App (including any emergency number or embassy or consulate contact) is accurate, current, complete, or suitable for any purpose, or that defects will be corrected. Where a jurisdiction does not allow certain exclusions, they apply to the minimum extent and shortest duration permitted by law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PROVIDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY HARM, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR ANY INFORMATION IN IT. This includes, without limitation, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; damages for personal injury, emotional distress, property damage, loss of data or profits, or business interruption; and any failure or delay in reaching emergency services or any third party — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider's total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to the Provider for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) five euro (EUR 5).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or willful misconduct. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law. You may also have statutory consumer rights that these Terms do not affect.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of applicable law or the rights of any third party.
The App may rely on or link to third-party services (for example, your operating system's location services, your carrier's dialer, mapping links, and crash-reporting providers). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or their content; your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. When placing calls to numbers displayed in the App, you remain subject to your mobile carrier's terms, including any charges.

Government and foreign-ministry information is treated as factual public-interest information. The licenses above are stated for general reference; the applicable terms of each source govern.
These Terms are between you and the Provider only; the Provider, not the Store, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
Apple App Store. If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and, where applicable, Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation and is not responsible for any claims relating to the App (including product-liability, regulatory, or consumer-protection claims) or for third-party intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
Google Play. If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and Google is not responsible for the App or its content.
These Terms apply while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. On termination you must stop using and delete the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 2, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 14) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. The courts of Ukraine will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring or defend proceedings in your country of residence. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country where you reside.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Material changes will be notified in the App, and where required we will ask you to confirm acceptance in the App before they apply to you. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force, and the invalid provision is enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the App. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
